A deep look at the science of energy system training. The greatest challenge for a strength and conditioning coach in preparing an athlete is retention of type II B fast twitch muscle fibers while increasing VO2 Max. Too much endurance training can lead to lost power and speed. Paul's systems have helped many top athletes but are equally applicable to regular people looking to achieve a leaner physique while increasing performance. This practical and participatory seminar will deal with different energy pathways, evaluation protocols, a step-by-step osteo-articular warm-up, various tools, how to develop indoor and outdoor circuit training, and more.
